ABOUT

ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

We are here to make a difference!

Since 1959, the Community Dream Team has been serving the people of our region. The name has changed over the years — from Basket of Love to Community Dream Team in 2024, which is still our name today.

Who We Serve

We are now working with a broad range of individuals and organizations in order to identify gaps in community services. We serve thousands of residents in our community alone, but beyond our borders, we serve the entire state. That increases our population served to hundreds of thousands.

ACTION PLAN

The Plan

The Community Dream Action Plan was developed to build the capacity of people to integrate a bigger dream throughout their work/core business practices.

At the foundation of the plan is a shared definition and vision of equity, and four overarching branches for service to our community:

  • Community mobilization and engagement
  • Communications and awareness building
  • Policy and advocacy
  • Local capacity building
